The wolf is the largest member of the family Canidae, which includes all large-breed dogs, foxes, and coyotes. Wolves are known for extreme intelligence, a trait that enables them to survive in the wild. Wolves are also famous for their evocative and powerful howl, which they use to communicate with other wolves. While wolves are commonly thought of as aggressive and “vicious,” they are generally averse to actual fighting and are, in fact, often quite friendly with other dogs or humans they come into contact with. Since wolves are capable of forming strong emotional attachments, it’s no wonder that humans feel an affinity for these complex and beautiful animals.

SOLID 10% SILVER CONDUCTORS FOR IMPROVED SUBWOOFER PERFORMANCE

Solid 10% Silver-Plated Copper Conductors: A superbly cost-effective way to maximize a video or digital cable, harsh and horrible for full-range audio, but like turning up the “sharpness” for a subwoofer, enhancing articulation and intelligibility.

FEP AIR-TUBE INSULATION (FEP IS A FLUORO-POLYMER)

Any solid material adjacent to a conductor is actually part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials all absorb energy (loss). Some of this energy is stored and then later released as distortion. Air, however, absorbs next to no energy, and FEP is the best extrudable solid insulation, absorbing less energy than other materials. The use of FEP Air-Tube insulation, with almost nothing but air around the solid conductors, improves the sound of an audio system's focus and dynamics.

TRIPLE-BALANCED GEOMETRY (SEPARATE GROUND-REFERENCE CONDUCTOR)

Our Triple-Balanced Geometry uses a separate ground-reference conductor, so the cable's shield is never used as an inferior conductor. Whether prepared with RCA or XLR plugs, the cable's three conductors ensure that the positive and negative signals have equally superior, low-distortion conducting paths.

DIELECTRIC-BIAS SYSTEM WITH RADIO FREQUENCY TRAP

All insulation between two or more conductors is also a dielectric whose properties will affect the integrity of the signal. When the dielectric is unbiased, dielectric-involvement (absorption and non-linear release of energy) causes different amounts of time delay (phase shift) for different frequencies and energy levels, which is a real problem for very time-sensitive multi-octave audio. The inclusion of an RF Trap (developed for AudioQuest’s Niagara Series of power products), ensures that radio-frequency noise will not be induced into the signal conductors from the DBS field elements. (DBS, US Pat #s 7,126,055 & 7,872,195 B1)

CARBON-BASED 4-LAYER NOISE-DISSIPATION SYSTEM

It's easy to accomplish 100% shield coverage. Preventing captured Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) from modulating the equipment's ground reference requires AQ's Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). Traditional shield systems typically absorb and then drain noise/RF energy to component ground, modulating and distorting the critical "reference" ground plane, which in turn causes a distortion of the signal. NDS's alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics "shield the shield," absorbing and reflecting most of this noise/RF energy before it reaches the layer attached to ground.

      Items are posted Tuesday - Friday with DPD or other couriers (based on the item size/weight). Certain items are shipped as freight if over 30kg and may take 2-3 days to be delivered. Please contact us to confirm stock availability and shipping leadtimes.

      Our cut-off for same day dispatch of in-stock products is 1pm. Collection in store may be available if stock isn't in our central warehouse.

      Returns

      Our returns policy lasts for 28 days for all items in our store except those defined in section (1) below.

      To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused/unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

      If you return the item to us within 14 days of purchasing, you will be offered a full refund or exchange. If your return comes to us after 14 days of purchasing and is opened, we will refund the full amount less 20%. Unused items returned up to 28 days after purchasing will be fully refunded.

      You must ensure goods are shipped in their original packaging if they are damaged/not working. Manufacturers will not accept returns and Yorkshire AV can not be held responsible for any damage in transit.

      Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Those that are bespoke items or those that we've had to request in for you.
