The QB 12 is the first Q Acoustics subwoofer to feature a 12in driver. The big long-throw driver is powered by an ultra low-distortion 220-watt Class D amplifier for tight, powerful bass response, and features a 50mm voice coil for minimal thermal compression. Equally at home with Q Acoustics’ Concept and 3000i range of stereo and centre speakers, Q B12 is designed to be equally adept at reproducing big Hollywood action moments as it is the deep, subtle textures of bass instruments.

Floor-shaking bass
If you like your favourite movies and music to be a truly physical experience, the Q B12 is the subwoofer for you. Featuring a mighty 12 inch woofer and driven by an equally impressive 220 watt, Class D amplifier, the Q B12 makes its presence felt – big time.

Built to resist distortion
Keeping this power in check, Q Acoustics have fitted the Q B12 sub with a large, diecast aluminium heat sink – keeping the amp cool running and the power coming. The cabinet is thick-walled and reinforced, making it as rigid as possible. This greatly reduces unwanted vibrations and rattles, meaning you can turn the volume up higher without distortion.

Room-friendly style and choice of finishes
Although no shrinking violet, Q Acoustics have rounded the ages off this mighty sub for a less obtrusive style. Black or white finishes are available or, as an extra cost option, luxurious deep gloss black or white.

From the subtlest nuance to volcano all-action

220 watts of Class D power driving a long-throw 12in drive unit sounds like a recipe for action. And that’s exactly what it is - no Hollywood blockbuster soundtrack features explosions too loud, too deep or too powerful for Q B12 to handle. But power is nothing without control, and Q B12 is just as comfortable describing the nuances of a double bass or an electronic kick-drum.

 

Strength and control

Q B12’s sealed, ‘infinite baffle’ cabinet is cleverly braced to deliver maximum stiffness to its motor system and, as a consequence, minimum influence on those deep bass sounds. Mechanical stability = aural satisfaction.

    Shipping

    Items are posted Tuesday - Friday with DPD or other couriers (based on the item size/weight). Certain items are shipped as freight if over 30kg and may take 2-3 days to be delivered. Please contact us to confirm stock availability and shipping leadtimes.

    Our cut-off for same day dispatch of in-stock products is 1pm. Collection in store may be available if stock isn't in our central warehouse.

    Returns

    Our returns policy lasts for 28 days for all items in our store except those defined in section (1) below.

    To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused/unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 

    If you return the item to us within 14 days of purchasing, you will be offered a full refund or exchange. If your return comes to us after 14 days of purchasing and is opened, we will refund the full amount less 20%. Unused items returned up to 28 days after purchasing will be fully refunded.

    You must ensure goods are shipped in their original packaging if they are damaged/not working. Manufacturers will not accept returns and Yorkshire AV can not be held responsible for any damage in transit.

    Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Those that are bespoke items or those that we've had to request in for you.
