Integrated Amplifier
An integrated amplifier, often referred to simply as an "integrated amp," is a type of audio amplifier that combines two essential audio components into a single unit: a preamplifier and a power amplifier. This integration allows you to control and amplify audio signals from various sources while simplifying your audio system setup.
Some integrated amplifiers are typically "analogue only" in that the only inputs are RCA/phono/XLR. Other amplifiers may feature a DAC (digital-analogue-converter) allowing you to connect digital sources such as HDMI, optical or coaxial into your system.
