Full Time Sales Assistant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our in store and telephone / online sales team.

As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in managing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and delivering outstanding service to our online and in store customers. You will lead customer demonstrations and be able to offer impartial advice on technical solutions across a wide range of use cases.

 

You will be the first point of contact for our valued customers, ensuring their needs are met with efficiency, professionalism, and a personal touch. This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a customer-centric approach to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in creating sales material for sales preparation and success
  • Coordinate scheduling with marketing and sales team members
  • Lead client correspondence
  • Coordinate shipping and delivery
  • Handle customer inquiries and issues
  •  

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent retail sales experience
  • Customer-service oriented
  • Proficient in Ecommerce and Digital Technology (IT, CRM, Email, Ecommerce Software, Spreadsheets etc)
  •  

    Your role will expand from sales to also being a key contributor on:

  • Ecommerce management: product, inventory and pricing updates
  • Order fulfilment: supporting order processing of in-store and online orders via our commerce platform
  • Supporting telephone enquiries, booking appointments and directing customer enquiries to the correct team member
  •  

    Full training will be provided for all points above. A full driving license is essential.

    Yorkshire AV will provide you with support in building knowledge on home audio solutions to help create custom solutions for our customers based on experience and knowledge as well as managing ecommerce platforms.

    Salary: based on experience - base from £20,000 per annum plus sales commission and business bonus
