Delivering the level of exceptional performance expected from today’s music fans, this integrated amplifier has the capabilities to drive even the most demanding of loudspeakers. With 100 watts per channel into 6 ohms, and a generously over-specified power supply the 40 AMP is capable of reproducing the scale and drama of the musical performance in your own home.
Encased in the sleek design of the 40 series aluminium casing with a 5” hi-resolution full colour TFT display, the 40 AMP has been designed to fit into today’s modern lifestyle. Sitting at the centre of this multi-functional amplifier is an electronic circuit that has been designed entirely by the R&D team at Cyrus. The DAC is based upon the latest chipset from ESS, the ES9039Q2M, and has been reworked to provide an audio signal that replicates the artists original recording to a level not seen in a Cyrus product before.
As well as multiple digital and analogue connections, the 40 AMP has a low noise MM phono stage which inherits many of its design features from the award-winning Classic PHONO. The phono stage performs at a level way above its class, featuring low background noise and high dynamic range, providing the perfect complement for a quality vinyl turntable.
The features of the 40 AMP do not stop with your love of music, now with the addition of the latest HDMI eARC input, your home audio now provides the opportunity to enjoy your favourite films or TV series through your chosen loudspeakers, putting the 40 AMP well and truly at the centre of your home entertainment.
Digital Performance
Customised DAC design is at the forefront of all digital products from Cyrus, and the 40 AMP embodies this approach like never before.
Based upon the ESS Sabre ES9039Q2M chipset and HyperStream IV Dual DAC technology, every component has been analysed by our
engineering team and the board layout fully optimised to tune the DAC so that we can achieve the highest possible performance.
Low Noise Phono Stage
Inheriting many design features from the award winning Classic PHONO, the phono stage in the 40 AMP performs at a level way above its
class. Featuring low background noise and high dynamic range, the phono stage is a perfect complement for a quality vinyl turntable source.
Power Supply Upgrade
Even when the 40 AMP is packaged with our latest custom designed switch mode power supply, improvements are always possible. To further enhance the experience and provide the 40 AMP with the best configuration of power, you can easily connect the 40 PSU external power supply to the 40 AMP with a single cable.
Providing multiple supplies, all of the output voltages from the 40 PSU are digitally controlled internally, so are extremely stable and virtually noise free.

The 40 AMP is presented in a sleek brushed and black hard anodised aluminium case with a 5” hi-res, full colour TFT display with toughened glass front panel with hidden-until-lit capacitive touch controls.
Power Amplifier
The wideband power amplifier of the 40 AMP responds from D.C. to beyond 100kHz ensuring ruler flat frequency response and keeping any undesirable phase shifts out of the audio band. With a generous, over-specified power supply the 40 AMP power amplifier is very capable of reproducing the scale and drama of the musical performance.

We are an approved retailer for all brands sold on our website, which means full manufacturers warranty and support as well as detailed product knowledge within our small business.
We use an inventory tracking system which states if item(s) are in stock and if not, what are the likely lead times.
Who do you use for delivery?
Our primary delivery agent is DPD. Where orders are shipped directly from Yorkshire AV, we always use DPD who offer a fabulous service at competitive rates.
If we drop ship (i.e. direct from the supplier) then the delivery agent is out of our control. It is generally DPD or UPS however - we rarely see other carriers used.
Selecting "Next Day" delivery does not mean you'll receive your item the next day in some cases. It's the next day from when the item(s) are in stock with us. If there is an urgent need then please contact a member of staff via the Live Chat or telephone (01757 826111) to check on live stock levels.
Certain product(s) are delayed in manufacturing due to semi-conductor shortages across the Globe. We'll keep you informed as to your order progress and a likely ETA once we get updates from the manufacturers.
Returns
Standard Returns
Our returns policy lasts for 28 days for all items in our store except those defined in section (1) below.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be unused/unopened and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
If you return the item to us within 14 days of purchasing, you will be offered a full refund or exchange. If your return comes to us after 14 days of purchasing and is opened, we will refund the full amount less 20%. Unused items returned up to 28 days after purchasing will be fully refunded.
It's the responsibility of the customer to return the items at your cost. Yorkshire AV are able to arrange collection - please contact us for a quote.
You must ensure goods are shipped in their original packaging if they are damaged/not working. Manufacturers will not accept returns and Yorkshire AV can not be held responsible for any damage in transit.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

- Second hand units / clearance products
- Headphones (due to listener hygiene)

- Special order items (items that we order in for you/were not in stock at the time of order)
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Items that have been opened will be listed on our "Clearance" section. We charge a 20% fee from the total item value which will be deducted from any refund amount applicable.
If your returns are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 2-3 days. Costs of shipping will be deducted from any refund amount.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Warranty
By default, our brands follow their standard manufacturers warranty terms and length.
For extended Warranty (should this be offered with your product), please ensure you complete the Extended Warranty registration form that was emailed to you.
Warranty claims within the warranty period are underpinned by the manufacturer. With any extended warranty claims - Yorkshire AV act as your agent to the authorised repair centre.
Shipping charges are excluded from any warranty claim. Original packaging and receipts must be provided else the claim will be rejected.
