Wednesday 14th April 2021 sees REL Acoustics LTD release the latest family of subwoofers: Seri T/x which is a direct replacement for the hugely successful T/i series.
The T/i was released in April 2015 - with designs sharpened, proportions improved upon, drivers were significantly upgraded with greater stiffness in the cone structure, courtesy of a light, stiff aluminum center cap that stiffened the cone by some 200%. Limiters were upgraded to yield higher output and the overall performance took a notable step forward. During the tenure of Serie T/i, REL grew by some 350% worldwide, with international distribution–always strong in Europe and North America– exploding in Asia as well.
Looking ahead, we hope that Seri T/x is as successful as REL boldly takes a new product set forward.
It should not be seen as a cosmetic release - far from it.
T/x represents a new standard for overall performance in this price category with upgraded drivers, cabinets, amps, and even zero-compression wireless capability when paired with REL's Arrow Wireless system.
The new units all feature a slightly rounded cabinet design, which appears to be overall smaller than Seri T/i. But don't be fooled: the cabinets actually have overall greater volume!
Using gently rounded corner radii that allows the eye to flow over and see less visual mass. The result is both modern and familiar with no unnecessary adornment.
Serie T/x is instantly seen as crisper, fresher, a full upgrade . Our goals were not simply to improve upon its illustrious predecessor, but to deliver as much as possible of our latest Serie S on a budget. Faster, more transparent sounding system performance awaits you with higher output levels and even greater impact.

Note - stock arrives mid-late April 21.
